Q2 2024 Fitness App Trends in Latin America: iOS Platform Highlights

In the second quarter of 2024, Latin America's iOS platform saw varied trends among the top fitness and weight loss programs. Sensor Tower provides a closer look into the downloads, revenue, and active users for these leading apps.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike maintained a steady revenue with slight fluctuations, peaking at approximately $78K and ending the quarter around $73K. Downloads saw a high in late April with over 40K, but generally hovered around the mid-30K range. Weekly active users showed growth, starting at 376K and climbing to nearly 389K by the end of June.

Sweatcoin Walking Step Counter experienced modest revenues, ranging from $1K to $1.4K. Downloads spiked to over 83K in early April but later normalized to around 31K. Active users began at 162K and saw a slight increase to 157K over the quarter.

The Smart Fit App showed no revenue, focusing our attention on downloads and active users. Downloads were mostly consistent, with a slight rise in early June to over 34K. Weekly active users showed a small but steady increase from 258K to 265K.

Fitness App: Gym Workout Plan saw its revenue fluctuate, starting at $6.9K and dipping to $5.3K by the quarter's end. Downloads peaked in late May with over 53K, followed by a decrease to 26K. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 24K, peaking at 60K, and then falling to 40K.

Lastly, adidas Running: Walk & Run App had revenues beginning at $4.1K, dropping to $3K. Downloads saw a high of 23K in late April, but ended the quarter with around 20K. Active users had minor fluctuations but remained relatively steady, starting at 61K and ending at 65K.
